Shake in an iced cocktail shaker, and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist. A cocktail created in 1937 by a British bartender named C.A. Tuck, and named in honor of the celebrated Twentieth Century Limited train which ran between New York City and Chicago from 1902 until 1967. The recipe was first published in 1937 in the Café Royal Cocktail Book by William J. Tarling, President of the United Kingdom Bartenders' Guild and head bartender at the Café Royal.

Stir, then pour the blackberry liqueur over the top of the drink in a circular fashion.

Bramble Cocktail
4 cl gin
1.5 cl lemon juice
1 cl simple syrup
1.5 cl Creme de Mure (blackberry liqueur)
Fill glass with crushed ice. Build gin, lemon juice and simple syrup over. Stir, and then pour blackberry liqueur over in a circular fashion to create marbling effect. Garnish with two blackberries and lemon slice. The Bramble was created in London, England in the mid-80s, the result of a wave that was sweeping the bar-tending scene of the British capital. A product of the cocktail revolutionary Dick Bradsell, the Bramble was a simple and easy to make yet delectable twist on the old favourite, the Gin Fix. The Bramble came to life in 1984 when Bradsell was working in Fred's Club, a downtown Soho Bar run by an ex-Butler, where the emphasis was on service and style.

Corpse Reviver #1
2 parts cognac
1 part apple brandy or Calvados
1 part sweet vermouth
Stir with ice, strain into a chilled cocktail glass. The Corpse Reviver family of cocktails are intended as 'hair of the dog' hangover cures, hence the name. Most of the corpse reviver cocktails have been lost to time, but the cognac- and gin-based Corpse Reviver and Corpse Reviver #2 cocktails that were first listed in the Savoy Cocktail Handbook by Harry Craddock in 1930 have survived to this day.

Corpse Reviver #2
3/4 ounce gin
3/4 ounce lemon juice
3/4 ounce Cointreau (triple sec)
3/4 ounce Lillet
1 dash absinthe
Shake ingredients together in a mixer with ice. Strain into chilled glass. The Corpse Reviver #2 is the more popular of the corpse revivers, and consists of equal parts gin, lemon juice, triple sec (commonly Cointreau), Kina Lillet, and a dash of absinthe. The dash of absinthe can either be added to the mix before shaking, or added to the cocktail glass and moved around until the glass has been coated with a layer of absinthe. It can also be used to coat the edge of the glass to give a subtle absinthe aroma and flavor to the drink

Although different variations of coffee cocktails pre-date the now-classic Irish coffee by at least 100 years, the original Irish coffee was invented and named by Joe Sheridan, a head chef in Foynes, County Limerick but originally from Castlederg, County Tyrone. Foynes' port was the precursor to Shannon International Airport in the west of Ireland. The coffee was conceived after a group of American passengers disembarked from a Pan Am flying boat on a miserable winter evening in the 1940s. Sheridan added whiskey to the coffee to warm the passengers. After the passengers asked if they were being served Brazilian coffee, Sheridan told them it was "Irish coffee"

A Long Island Iced Tea is a type of alcoholic mixed drink typically made with, among other ingredients, tequila, vodka, light rum, triple sec, and gin.It is so named because of the resemblance to the color and taste of iced tea. A popular version mixes equal parts vodka, gin, tequila, rum, and triple sec with 1½ parts sour mix and a splash of cola, which gives the drink the same amber hue as its namesake.

Most variants use equal parts of the main liquors, but include a smaller amount of triple sec (or other orange-flavored liqueur). Close variants often replace the sour mix with lemon juice, replace the cola with diet cola or actual iced tea, or add white crème de menthe; however, most variants do not include any tea. Some restaurants substitute brandy for the tequila. Some variants of the drink have alternative names such as Texas Iced Tea, Georgia Iced Tea, Tokyo Tea, Three Mile Island, and Adios Mother Fucker.

Shake and strain into a chilled champagne flute.
Dash some Angostura bitters on top.

Planter´s Punch
4.5 cl Dark rum
3.5 cl Fresh orange juice
3.5 cl Fresh pineapple juice
2 cl Fresh lemon juice

Pour all ingredients, except the bitters, into shaker filled with ice. Shake well. Pour into large glass, filled with ice. Add Angostura bitters, “on top”.

Shake ingredients together with ice, and strain into a glass. This recipe is a variation invented by Joe Gilmore in 1954.

Rinse a chilled old-fashioned glass with the absinthe, add crushed ice and set it aside.
Stir the remaining ingredients over ice and set it aside.
Discard the ice and any excess absinthe from the prepared glass, and strain the drink into the glass. Add the Lemon peel for garnish.
Note: The original recipe changed after the American Civil War, rye whiskey substituted cognac as it became hard to obtain.

The Singapore Sling is a South-East Asian cocktail. This long drink was developed sometime before 1915 by Ngiam Tong Boon, a Hainanese bartender working at the Long Bar in Raffles Hotel Singapore. It was initially called the gin sling, a sling was originally an American drink composed of spirit and water, sweetened and flavoured.

The original Tequila Sunrise contained tequila, crème de cassis, lime juice and soda water and was served at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel, where it was created by Gene Sulit in the 1930s or 1940s.
The more popular modern version of the cocktail contains tequila, orange juice, and grenadine and was created by Bobby Lazoff and Billy Rice in the early 1970s while working as young bartenders at the Trident in Sausalito, California north of San Francisco. In 1972, at a private party at the Trident organized by Bill Graham to kick off the Rolling Stones' 1972 tour in America, Mick Jagger had one of the cocktails, liked it, and he and his entourage started drinking them down.They later ordered them all across America, even dubbing the tour itself their "cocaine and tequila sunrise tour"

Rakennetaan jos halutaan väriefekti: Tequila ja appelsiinimehu lasiin jossa on jäitä, ja sitten grenadiinisiirappi mukaan - tai voi tehdä myös frozen -versiona blenderissä, jolloin värit sekoittuvat mutta maku säilyy.

5 cl (5 parts) Vodka

3 cl (3 parts) fresh cream
Pour coffee liqueur and vodka into an Old Fashioned glass filled with ice. Float fresh cream on top and stir slowly. The White Russian is the signature drink of "the Dude", the protagonist of the cult classic The Big Lebowski. In the movie, the Dude refers to it as a "Caucasian." The cocktail's prominence in the film has been connected to a revival in its popularity.

Mix sambuca with rootbeer and stir. Add ice
